William is the oldest of three. He has a younger sister named Daisy and a younger brother named Ben.
People that know William describe him as a opionated young man who knows his own mind. When Will was seven he used to listen to the audiotapes of the Chronicles of Narnia. He says that the Silver Chair was his favorite. Casting director Pippa had remembered William when she was filling roles for Cider With Rosie and since she was also helping to cast the Chronicles of Narnia, she recomended William for the role of Peter Pevensie. From the day he auditioned to the day he got the part of Peter was a whole 18 month gap. Poor William had to wait 18 months to find out if he had gotten the part. Before the Chronicles of Narnia William had a unsuccessful audition for the part of Harry Potter, but I like him better as Peter anyways. Along with Skandar Peter had a growth spurt while filming the Chronicles of Narnia and had to have his armor adjusted weekly. William grew a whopping 6 and a 1/2 inches.
